BUFFY

False Memories

Little sisters - sometimes it seems that they get themselves into everything...especially trouble. Dawn Summers is really no different than most little sisters, except for the fact that she's not exactly human, and she probably exists mainly to function as a key to other dimensions, and her big sister - well, her big sister is the Slayer.

When Dawn mysteriously appeared in Buffy's life, so did a million memories of them as sisters - impossible memories that can't be real, because Dawn simply was never there. So where are all these memories coming from now, and who is putting them into the minds of buffy and the Scooby gang? And what the Hellmouth does any of this have to do with the new crop of crazed, bloodsucking monks who are skulking about town.

Now Dawn has disappeared as mysteriously as she first arrived, and Buffy knows the rules are "Stake frist, ask questions later" when your littler sister goes missing...

Time Period: Events take place after Into the Woods
Author: Tom Fassbender and Jim Pascoe
Starring: Buffy, Willow, Xander, Tara, Anya, Dawn, Spike, and Giles.
Supporting Cast: The Master, Harmony, Angel, Cordelia, with Jenny Calendar and Yuki Makimura.
Review: Something that bugged some fans was why weren't a lot of memories of Dawn addressed in regards to the past seasons. This comic explores this aspect--including a look at what role Dawn played in Prophecy Girl as well as during Innoncence. It also explores the Slayer lore a bit (similar to Tempted Champtions, except, I like this one a lot better). It follows the storyline perfectly (plus no Riley) and the flashbacks are excellent. Yuki is wonderful and where her storyline concludes is great. All and all, a great episode. An easy 4.
